MongoDB at DealerTrack

Dealertrack Technologies has adopted MongoDB as its standard NoSQL database for use in a variety of roles in delivering its leading SaaS offerings to the North American Automotive Industry.  DT uses Mongo from Python, Perl, and Java, for web and batch applications, and in both business and consumer facing systems.  This session will look at four very different in-production use cases for MongoDB, its impact on both development and production, and the lessons learned in building and running mission critical applications using MongoDB side-by-side with relational databases as part of a complex B2B and B2C platform.

This session will look at how we've done on the Mongo-based projects we discussed in our last meetup discussion, new projects using MongoDB, and how we are handling explosive growth in both data and transaction volumes.

The DT presenters will include Evan Bauer, VP Architecture, Platform, and Data and Vlad Kotlyar, Director of Platform Architecture.

I went specifically because I thought DealerTrack would have interesting thoughts and I was pleased to hear the reasoned true architectural analysis. Thank you Avi, Evan, Vlad, and Gennadiy! I see last time, http://www.meetup.com/New-York-MongoDB-User-Group/events/95110262/ , there were no slides posted, but I had a hard time reading and listening. Would it be possible to post this year's slides?
