Hello Oyster Lovers!
It's been a while but the next NYC Oyster Lovers Meetup is set! We’ll be meeting at Lure Fish Bar at 142 Mercer St in Soho on Wednesday, November 30th at 7 pm. Chef Ryan Schmidtberger has again created a fantastic menu for us with great selections from both coasts. The oysters are subject to availability, but assuming all goes well, you’ll be able to try one of the rare Belon oysters, which author Rowan Jacobsen has called “the most intense, overwhelming, unforgettable food you are likely to eat anytime soon.” Due to space requirements, this dinner will be capped at 25 attendees, so don’t wait to sign up.
The cost for the dinner, before tax and tip, will be $40. Each person must sign up through Meetup; no +1s allowed. Payments for the dinner will be collected on-site the evening of the dinner by the restaurant. If you order additional drinks or food a la carte, please settle those tabs with the server on your own.
