Health, Wealth, and Relationships - The New York Personal Development Meetup

Details
What up doers!
We're kicking off the New York Personal Development meetup by chatting about three things everyone wants to improve: health, wealth, and relationships...holy canoli - I want to improve all those things!
We're going to do a little networking amidst Chipotle Burrito Bowls and Tequilla to break the ice before we have 4 awesome peeps share their testimonies...and some insight into how you can effect behavioral change into your life (if you want to of course!)
Health: We are honored to have Ari Meisel (https://twitter.com/arimeisel) the achievement architect force behind less doing (http://lessdoing.com) speaking. Here's his story in his words..
"In 2006, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Crohn's is an incurable disease of the digestive tract. My case was severe, and required over a dozen daily medications and several hospital visits.
After reaching a personal low point in hospital, I decided he would do everything in my power to strengthen my by then weak body. Through a combination of yoga, nutrition, natural supplements and rigorous exercise (Ironman and Crossfit) i was able to fight back the symptoms of Crohn's until I was finally able to suspend my medication. Eventually I was declared free of all traces of the 'incurable' disease, and competed in Ironman France in June of 2011.
I have since spoken at seminars and at a regional TED Talk about my struggle against a seemingly insurmountable opponent. Through the process of data collection, self tracking, and analysis, I helped develop Less Doing. This was a way of dealing with the daily stresses of life by optimizing, automating, and outsourcing all of my tasks in life and business.
Wealth: Scott Britton (http://life-longlearner.com) (a.ka. the dude writing this) will be sharing his passive income journey.
He'll talk about the general paradigm of why developing a product to sell is such a worthy investment of time, how he's made money online, and all the good and really dumb things he's done along the way. The talk will be concluded with a blueprint on how you can start on a similar journey.
Relationships: Charlie Houpert of Kickass Academy (http://kickassacademy.com)
Charlie was the shyest guy you've never met (because he was hiding in a corner trying not to take up space). In high school, he won "Most Likely to Break Out of His Shell in College." He's since gone on to destroy that shell and found Kickass Academy with his heterosexual life partner, Ben.
He'll talk about HOW charisma can be learned and the 2 patterns of thought that stop 99% of people from having the dating life they want. He'll also be teaching the EASIEST way get the number of that hot girl or studly guy you see in the street, in the park, in Starbucks, wherever (it works like crazy and it's just in time for summer!)
Post Information Continuity: Dan Putt (https://twitter.com/danputt), co-founder of Cojourneo (http://workshops.cojourneo.com/) will be talking about how to putt (catch that!?) all that knowledge we all get so excited into practice a.k.a actually doing stuff!
Whether its helping you finally read and finish books or build fitness habits, Dan will be sharing effective methodologies to put the personal development knowledge we love to consume into action.
This meetup is going to be rocking and the goal here is not only to inspire, but to develop a community of like-minded individuals to help encourage accountability and personal growth. Leave your hater friends who think they can't change reality at home...and bring your party hats
