Join us in photographing the dynamic shoreline of Hospitals Reef in La Jolla, CA. This interesting location has a section of rock that is cratered with potholes, as well as a stretch that is lined with long crevices through which the turbulent tidal waves flow. This spot provides fantastic opportunities for creative composition with the many rocky features, as well as beautiful long-exposure shots as waves crash over rocks and spin through crevices.
We will be meeting at a set of beach stairs located at the above address on Coast Blvd in La Jolla, and shooting past sunset. This is when the most magnificent colors appear, but can only be seen by your camera using a long (20-30 second) exposure.
