Mary Avenue Bridge w/ Moon

This event will be a lottery event there will be 4 slots for supporters and 4 for all left in the wait list. The lottery will be June 5th and all winners will be moved to the attending list.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

on Juune 8th the moon gets near the bridge while the lights are still on.

I'll be there on the 8th will try and stick around from 9ish to the lights go out or till the moon passes the bridge. (It may be close.)

The moon will peak at 42 degrees above the horizon as it passes the zenith at 9:38. This will give a decent image similar height of the moon as the cloud around the moon shot.

Here are some pics to show tail light trails from the bridge and a problem that has to be delt with I used a couple of ball bungee cords and had the legs form an obtuse triangle to get the lens as close as possible

There is parking along Mary on the north side as well as on the south side (I have not visited the s end at night) there is also parking(possible in the high school lot)

the nearest bathroom that I know of is the McDonalds on the corner of Mary and Pastoria.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (please read this first if you have questions)

You must join the waitlist to be eligible to attend this event.
You must have a YES RSVP to actually attend.
4 Supporter spaces will be determined by Lottery three days prior to the event
3 spaces are available to anyone via the lottery.

People with prior No Shows will be ignored in the lottery and removed from attendance.
A no show to this event will be recorded.
You must withdraw from the event 3 days before it starts or you will be counted as a no show.

NO Guests are permitted.
Bringing undeclared guests will be treated the same as a no-show.

DIRECTIONS

the meetup will be at the north end of the bridge closest intersection is Mary Ave and Homestead Rd. Just behind Hoemstead High School

PARKING
There is parking along Mary on the north side as well as on the south side (I have not visited the s end at night) there is also parking(possible in the high school lot)
