An intriguing idea, Matt.  Seeing YOUR work (which I love as it is anyway), I realize that doing anything like this is way outside my skill set: creative (having an idea), artistic (turning the idea into a pleasing image), technical (getting it into a computer), etc.  But if somebody else (perhaps over the holidays?) wants to draft and submit something I'd love to see it.  Maybe a combination of ideas could improve on even the wonderful start Matt has given us.

About the humpy Mount Nittany ... does anybody know what it looks like from the side?  I figure it might well have multiple peaks spread along to the north east.  I only ever see the end pointing to town.  If I ever fly again, I'll take a look.  Of course, it's true we are not Mount Nittany Freethought, as Rob points out.

Incidentally, I have no trouble seeing the elements of the face in the ridges and valleys ... to me the slight puzzle is part of the appeal.

Thank you again, Matt, for your contribution, and others for your thoughtful and sensitively expressed comments.
