Single parents have one of the toughest jobs out there! It requires sacrifice, balance, patience, energy, compromise, forgiveness, and lots of time and money. So why take this journey alone? Come join us! We strive to plan activities that are budget-friendly and fun for all. Between Kids Eat Free nights at restaurants, Parents' Nights, all the fun festivals that our region has to offer, physical activities that wear the little ones out, potlucks and more, you are sure to find something to do!

Our group is comprised of families of all shapes and sizes. We have separated, divorced, and never-married parents. Some are widowed, and some are single by choice. Some are experiencing the fresh wounds of a break-up, and some have been single for a long time. We have children anywhere from the toddler years to teens. Some bounce between houses with regularity, and some have only one parent. Some have special needs or have been adopted. And we are all geographically spread out.

What we have in common is a deep love for our children and desire to give them the best life possible. Our kids find comfort in having friends in similar situations and going as a group to places that are often filled with "nuclear" families. Our parents enjoy having companions who understand how thin we are stretched and who give us room to gab, grieve, and grow.

You can attend our meetups once a week or once every six months - whatever you are comfortable with. But take advantage of this valuable resource - your kids and your sanity will thank you :).
