It has been just over 4 years since Node got off the ground. v0.10 recently shipped and is now being used by hundreds of thousands of developers including some of the largest companies in the world.
So, what's going to happen between now and v1.0? What will be rewritten and what performance benefits can you look forward to?
Join us for an evening with Isaac Schlueter, Bert Belder and Ben Noordhuis, core committers to Node and the primary developers building libuv (the framework that powers Node.js). Isaac will speak about the road to v1.0; Bert and Ben are in town from the Netherlands and we are taking this opportunity to have them come talk about libuv. Afterwards, there will be an informal Q&A session. Come take advantage of this rare opportunity to ask the bare-metal developers questions about Node, libuv and the future of Node.
