Next Toastmasters Meeting 3rd April

  • Apr 3, 2014 · 7:15 PM

Welcome to North Avon Speakers Club!

This is a regular club meeting with prepared speeches, speech evaluations and "table topics" - a chance to practice impromptu speaking.

North Avon Speakers is a fun, friendly public speaking club. We meet every first, third and fifth Thursday of the month. Meetings start at 7:15pm and finish by 9:30pm.

North Avon Speakers Club is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit worldwide network of 12,500 clubs with over 260,000 members spread across 116 countries.

To visit the Toastmasters International website: http://www.toastmasters.org/

Why join a public speaking club?

• to overcome a fear of public speaking or just build confidence when presenting to an audience
• to prepare for a specific event such as a wedding speech or an important presentation
• to develop effective communication and leadership skills that are valuable in many areas of life
• It’s also a great way to meet new and interesting people – we’re a pretty sociable bunch!

How do I find out more?

The best way to find out if North Avon Speakers is right for you is to come along to one of our meetings. Guests are always very welcome and chances are you won’t be the only new face. You won’t be expected to speak so don’t worry, but if you do want to there will be ample opportunity for you to do so.
