In our darkest hour, Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. assembles THE AVENGERS: Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow - Earth's greatest heroes must face down the wrath of the godlike LOKI and a legion of alien invaders!

One of the most anticipated comic films ever made, 'Buffy' and 'Firefly' director Joss Whedon brings us an ultimate wise-cracking butt-kicking hero-fest that quite literally brings the house (and city) down! Don't miss this season opener flick at the DRIVE-IN!

 

THIS SHOW STARTS AT 9:00PM! START TIMES VARY THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER SO PLEASE TAKE NOTE EACH SHOW!

Our pre-show and trailers take about 20 minutes, an intermission is halfway through the film and also runs about 20min. START TIMES ARE ALWAYS APPROXIMATE

EVENT INFO -- take time to read if this is your first time attending!

Introduction:
We're a mobile DRIVE-IN, keeping the authentic experience alive as best we can! We project a big 30 foot wide image on the side of the Old Hamilton Theater building (closed for many years now) and transmit the audio over the FM band (88.3FM) just like modern drive-ins. We operate totally via donations and even have a small concession snack bar at each performance, in addition to raffle prizes and special presentations during the intro and intermission segments!! COME JOIN US and KEEP THE DRIVE-IN ALIVE!

Drive-In Tips:
Arrive Early if you plan to park and watch from your car! There's lots of space for chairs and blankets in front of the cars. Pre-show runs 15-20 minutes (thus the movie does not start exactly at the time listed above, but please be courteous and do not arrive late). There will be a 20 minute intermission and raffle.  NOTE: THERE ARE NO REGULAR RESTROOMS AT THIS LOCATION - there's a park on Hamilton Pkwy down the road and around the corner that has open facilities through twilight and sometimes the church across the street has an event and we can use theirs (located in the courtyard) but otherwise we have to improvise!

Drive-In Etiquette:
CAR HEADLIGHTS AND PARKING LIGHTS OFF during the show. LARGER VEHICLES PARK IN THE BACK ROW (Minivans, SUVs, Crossovers, Pickups). We can't always be 100% on top of this so if you have a smaller car do try to come early to get a FRONT row spot! During the movie, please keep talking to a minimum. We also ask folks to refrain from smoking close to other cars or attendees. We encourage everyone to enjoy the summer evening and sit outside - we have some boom boxes for audio! ALL CARS MUST KEEP IT SLOW when driving in the parking area. Children are welcome, but we ask you supervise them at all times. Same with pets, welcome but dogs need to be leashed at all times. Access to parking lot closes after the movie starts, at which point we ask folks park in the adjacent lot and walk in with lawn chair/blanket so as not to disturb those watching the movie. Please do not drive in to the lot after the movie has started.

Snack Bar & Raffles:
DONATE for SNACKS at our Concession Stand equipped with popcorn, hot dogs, candy and refreshments! There's usually themed cupcakes and/or other treats plus A RAFFLE with awesome prizes!! Raffles are held during intermission and usually feature a movie-themed prize-pack!... And always - Small bills greatly appreciated at the concession stand. PLEASE DON'T LITTER -- TAKE ALL TRASH WITH YOU OR DEPOSIT IT WITH US AT THE CONCESSION STAND!

ADVERTISING is available during our pre-show. The drive-in prides itself on being a community-based event. Promote your local business or service with us and reach Marin customers.     With more RSVPs than we've ever had, I'm hoping everyone understands that half or more attending will NOT have the opportunity to view the movie from their car. There's just not enough space to fit that many cars. There is however a lot of room in front and between, so PLEASE bring blankets, lawn chairs and a radio if you have one (we will have a few placed around). We ask you respect when we have to stop letting people into the lot, and not try to drive in after the movie has started.

    We'll fit as many as we can - please be patient as we arrange cars in this very old lot that was never designed to be used the way we're using it! :)
