This group brings together All Glass Lovers - whether you're a hobbyist, an artist, a collector, a lover or a student of glass, a glass blower, a lampworked glass artist, a fused glass creator/lover/artist, a mosaic lover... You Are Welcome! The Hope is to bring all like-minded Glass Lovers together to partake in and increase knowledge of Glass, ways to work/create with it, enjoy presentations by Guest Glass professionals, enjoy trips to Glass exhibitions, learn more by taking classes w/all glass mediums, be Active, meet/make New Friends, and More!
My Goal is to have happy, Active attending Members whether it be 10 or 50. The Key word here is "ACTIVE". If you joined & have not been Active and/or not checked in for over a month or more, you will be gently released from membership. Out of state members or West Coast or South FL Members must attend (1) activity every 6 months.
EXPECTATIONS OF EACH NEW MEMBER, effective ASAP/Jan 1, 2023:
**Participate in at least (1) activity WITHIN 2 MONTHS,
THEN at least (2) activities WITHIN 4 MONTHS, and (2) Every 6 months thereafter. This gives Each Member a chance to become involved in the activities & meet others with like interests!
**IF YOU DON'T MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT, YOU WILL BE RELEASED FROM THE GROUP.
Each Member receives a "Heads Up" Message through Meetup approx. 1 month before their Release Date as a Reminder to Attend something before their Release. If Member does not Attend a scheduled Meetup or Make Contact w/me (the Group Organizer) after receiving this Message, then the Member will be Released on their 2-month Anniversary.
**(2) NO-SHOWS and Member is Automatically RELEASED From Group!
