Dear friends,

Well. if you can read this today (Nov. 4) then at least you have some access to power and hopefully a little heat.  If the heat is still off then you have a perfect excuse to get close to that special someone.

Regardless, I hope that you are well and your situation hasn't been too hard.  I still don't have power, in Palisades Park, but my office does (Ridgewood), so here I am.  And there's a Whole Foods around the corner and they never lost power.

Feel free to share any stories on the discussion board and any requests that you think someone can help with.  Some of us will be facing long-term power outages.  The PSEG schedule doesn't do much for smaller towns - less than about 5000 people.

Make use of available resources including FEMA.

If you identify any good resources use this site - discussion/message board - to share them with the group.

We could plan a meeting for this coming Friday, if there is interest.  Let me know if you're interested.  Send me an email through Meetup.

Good luck.  Keep safe.  May the gas line be with you.
