I am taking my beloved Patricia to run the beautiful canyons of Southern Utah, on Labor day weekend. It would be great to share this experience, if you are available. It's a 1200-mile / 4-day ride, through a slightly different route from last year's: Zion, Bryce, Mon. Valley, with return through Snowflake and Globe.

Schedule is as follows (I've booked these hotels, but there are others available):

Day 1 (Fri 09/04): 320 miles to Kanab, UT. Lunch at Cameron Trading Post. Parry Lodge @ 89 East Center Street. Kanab, UT 84741. (435 644 2601). ~$109 (brkfast included)

Day 2 (Sat 09/05): 285 miles to Torrey, UT (through Zion). Capital Reef Inn & Cafe @ 360 W Main St, Torrey, UT 84775 (435 425-3271) ~ $59 (brkfst available but separate)

Day 3 (Sun 09/06): 290 miles to Chinle, AZ (through Bryce Canyon, and Monument Valley). Holiday Inn of Chinle @ Bia Route 7, Chinle, AZ 86503 (928 674-5000) ~ $99 (brkfst available but separate)

Day 4 (Mon 09/07): 304 miles to Apache Junction (through Holbrook and Globe).

Hotels are filling up fast for that weekend.
