North Shore Not Too Intense Hikers Pages

A friendly group of hikers which meets North of Boston for not too intense hikes sometimes followed by a lunch or tea together (or preceded by breakfast.)..Ange started this group to have some company hiking at weekends - and has been amazed at the great response! We do reasonable hikes close to home and usually lasting around 2 hours. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Hikers should be able to walk up and down hills and over rough terrain as the trails are rocky on occasion. The pace is moderate.

Dogs are sometimes a possibility but please check with walk organizer first - some properties have no dogs allowed and if Ange is bringing Melly other dogs may not be a good idea.. New ideas for hikes are welcome.

Participants are restricted usually to 12 (if Ange is organizing) or 16 - 20 for others. NOTE: Please don't grumble about this - it's not as much fun leading a huge group and as Victoria pointed out, too many clomping boots can have an adverse impact on the natural resources that we are planning to enjoy. That's our policy and we are sticking to it! Carpooling is encouraged - it's up to each person to post if they can drive someone or need a ride and where from...

No membership fee, just a contribution of $1 pp to attend a hike to help cover monthly Meetup costs. cool
