May - April Showers Just Brings May Drones Out

What we have here is a very nice cushy corn field with stalks around 10-18 inches tall. To get there you can go around to the backside of the Medical Center and you will find a red/white barrier. Go around the barrier and park alongside the road. This site is best suited for short take off or hand launched vehicles. There is a highway about a half mile away so everyone will have to pay attention to their controls and try not to fly near the highway, at all.

Other than that, it promises to be a nice COOOOL fly in! Come on down, bring some snacks and your kiddies. We hope to have a lot of fun and maybe we can all grab some dinner or lunch together somewhere local.

**This event is rain or shine. If our venue is a wash-out, for weather or politics, an alert will be announced/posted.

The site selection committee is always looking for new and varied flying sites. If you have one in mind, or even a suggestion on what to look for send me a message to add it to a site list. If possible, please provide a description of the field, a Google/Bing map link, and a point of contact for that location (if there is one.)

Please send me a message if you would like to serve on the site selection committee as well. The committee will meet briefly, via in person or via VOIP, once or twice a month as needed to consider and select locations for the group.
