North Texas Drupal October Meetup

We have a couple of excellent talks and discussions for the October North Texas Drupal meetup, so come on out, learn and network.

Travis Tidwell (https://www.drupal.org/u/travist) (with over 1500 drupal.org commits) will be asking the question- When Should You Not Use Drupal? Believe it or not, Drupal is not always the best tool for the job. Travis will go through many different products and talk through when it is pragmatic to use Drupal, and when it really doesn't make much sense.

Ian Whitcomb (https://www.drupal.org/u/iwhitcomb) (drupa.org commiter and local guitarist / rock star) will look at building multi-site Drupal, including different solutions such as Multisite (https://www.drupal.org/documentation/install/multi-site), Domain Access (https://www.drupal.org/project/domain), Organic Groups (https://www.drupal.org/project/og) and and Pantheon One (https://www.getpantheon.com/pantheon-one).

We will be back at The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC) Addison TreeHouse (http://www.addisontreehouse.com/) - thanks for their continuing generosity. Look for a sign for Dovie's restaurant on Midway and turn in there, drive to the back left and look for building 14681. Enter and go up the stairs.

At 6:30 we will be discussing and planning for North Texas DrupalCamp 2015 in February, followed by a quick recap of Recent Big Drupal Events (tm), and then our two featured presentations.
