Fibromyalgia can be disabling, but facing it with the support of friends confronting the same issues can be empowering.
The North Texas Fibromyalgia Support Group is made up of people with Fibromyalgia (FM), Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS), and Unrelenting Fatigue (UF), arthritis & other chronic pain issues. We ask professional practitioners to speak with us about proven treatments that have been successful for members. We meet for socials and monthly for lectures as well as online to provide you with a support network so that the quality of your life is enriched. We don't want to merely survive, we want to thrive!
This forum is provided to allow our members to meet others in the Dallas area rising to the professional, personal & social impacts as well as the physical limitations and self image challenges of FM. Rules are posted on the message board.
Please join us, as we provide and receive support to conquer the misconceptions regarding this disabling disease. Despite the immense challenges that we have faced & continue to face, we refuse to indulge in negativity or pessimism. We are an organization that believes in empowering people to be their best.
