Formerly associated with NaNoWriMo, the North Texas Writers Network is dedicated to offering all Dallas-Fort Worth metro writers a base. As the network progresses, features including freelance opportunities, publishing openings, peer editing workshops, writing workshops, and special guest speakers on various writing topics will be added.
The North Texas Writers Network is open to all writers of any type, whether fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or any other form. Regular meetings will give writers opportunities to meet others in the community and share successes and opportunities. The Network will allow a solitary profession or hobby to connect.
Are you participating in NaNo and reached a point where your plot may not be moving forward? Are you stuck in your first draft and don't know what to do with the plot? Are your characters hanging out in a coffee shop with nothing to do?
Bring your current work in progress. Please be prepared to share a little about the scene and plot and we'll pitch some ideas your way. Read more
