North West Tester Gathering - Liverpool

The North West Tester Gathering is a community of people who are passionate about software testing, test process and agile software development.

It is a an informal forum for sharing knowledge and experiences with other like minded individuals from many organisations.

Whether you are a budding beginner or battle scared practitioner, all are welcome.

We aim to provide a meeting place and hold regular events for anyone involved in testing (mostly) software products.

Come and meet fellow testers, share stories and experiences about tools and techniques which may, or may not, have solved testing problems.

This is also a place of learning, where live demonstrations of tools will be given for FREE - no more expensive training courses for simple (and free) open-source testing tools.

The group will decide what topics we cover at our meetings - and what tools will be demonstrated and taught.

So if you want to know how to integrate Slim with Webdriver, how BDD should be used from a testers perspective, or even how Selenium IDE can be used to automate regression testing on your website, then join the group and request then vote for the topic of your choice.

Our roots are in the London Tester Gatherings, and we enjoyed them so much, we wanted to share it back home, here up t'north.

We look forward to meeting you at a meetup soon!

Henry

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
