A little detail about our upcoming workshop:
The Practical Agile model is based on the discoveries of several teams, through implementing Agile and running thorough retrospectives.
We will take a look at the typical practices used to implement Agile, and by uncovering the principles at their foundation, we will find ways to achieve the intent behind these practices, while dealing with the realities of distributed teams and regulated environments.
We expect participants to be familiar with the basics, and many will already be Scrum certified and working towards adopting Agile in their teams.
We’ve heard complaints about typical Agile trainings where questions about how to make the practices work in a given environment aren’t answered. We will definitely spend time on that - our goal is to have participants ready to implement what they’ve gotten from the workshop right away. Participants will also gain organizational change skills to drive adoption of tailored Agile practices.
The workshop will be quite interactive, and client-centric. For example, we are going to have activities that deal with the specific circumstances of the attendees. We will address specific issues each participant faces, and coach participants through developing solutions specific to their situation.
