Indoor Rock Climbing at Mesa Rim Climbing Gym

Come join us for some indoor rock climbing at Mesa Rim Climbing & Fitness Center in San Diego! It's great fun with the group and a fantastic workout. For those that haven't been to Mesa Rim, it is a much larger facillity than the region's other popular climbing gyms and also requires you to take a belay lesson. If you do not know how to tie in with a figure 8 and use an ATC with the proper hand over hand technique you will need the belay lesson. Please call Mesa Rim at 858-201-4411 and reserve a spot for a belay lesson. Lessons are available at 5:00 and 7:00.
This meetup will repeat on the 2nd Friday of every month.
The cost is $17 but you'll get a $2 discount if you mention you are with North County In Motion. You must be on the Meetup RSVP list to receive the discount.
In addition to the day pass, you'll need shoes and a climbing harness. Their rental rates:
Shoes $5, Harness $3, Chalk Bag $1, Belay Device (ATC or GriGri) $2
