Let's see the movie Shrek come to life with blocks of ice cut out to resemble the characters of the movie.... Gaylord Texan’s (Grapevine - 5 min from DFW Airport) popular ICE! winter holiday attraction returns with an all-new, hilarious theme: ICE! featuring DreamWorks’ Shrek the Halls™. From Nov. 11 to Jan. 1, the DreamWorks animated holiday TV special will be brought to life in an interactive world of colorful ice sculptures carved entirely from TWO-MILLION pounds of ice.

Relive the heartwarming story as you stroll through this amazing attraction featuring your favorite characters: Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Gingy and Puss in Boots as they celebrate Christmas in their own special way. When Shrek tries to plan the “perfect Christmas” for Fiona and the kids, his plans are disrupted by chaos and commotion. But, in the end, Shrek learns the true meaning of the holiday and realizes it’s OK when Christmas never goes quite as planned. ICE!™ featuring DreamWorks’ Shrek the Halls at Gaylord Texan will be open daily from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, January 1, including holidays. View the ICE! slide rules. ICE! will be created by dozens of artisans who migrate to the Dallas / Ft. Worth area each year from Harbin, China to craft this elaborate attraction out of nearly 2 million pounds of ice. Tickets are $26.95 (peak hours) $21.95 (non peak hours): Gaylord Texan: Shrek's ICE If we get 20 people to come, we can get a group discount rate of $18.95. I can set up my Paypal account to receive your payments, which you will have a proof of payment, then I can distribute the tickets when you arrive in front of the entrance at 6:30. Otherwise you can purchase your own ticket for the off-peak price of $21.95. Afterwards we can go to Cozymel's along the 26 route (east side of the Grapevine Mills Mall). Great Mexican food and drinks.
