Presentation: Prototyping your Big Ideas with Javascript/HTML5

Whether you are trying to make money or just want to become famous, you know you've got some cool ideas for software, apps or websites that you wish existed. This presentation will introduce Javascript as a language to easily bring your idea to life, so you can show it to friends or investors.

Why Javascript? Javascript and the HTML specifications have matured to a point where it can not only prototype everything from the user experience to business logic to backend server processing, but actually be the language you can go to for live production (like Ruby on Rails, Java or Python). And it is really easy to learn (even if you aren't a programmer and are used to using slideshows or drawings to mock stuff up).

I'll give an overview of how to get started as well as show off two small projects to inspire you. Hope to see you! :-)
