This club is for everyone who wants to play chess and socialize in a non- intimidating environment. If you never played before don't worry, we'll teach you. If you can play then maybe you'll learn something new. There are only two rules for the club, respect others and have fun.

This club also is a social club to network, meet new people, make new friends, and just hang out.

Meetups will be in the Cleveland and Akron area and will primarily be at places that have coffee (Caribou, Starbucks etc.) and other locations that cater to socializing. During warm weather some meetups will take place outside at various Cleveland Metroparks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park locations. Some chess boards will be provided, however if you own one you are welcomed to bring it. Thank you.
