NSDOG and Sportsman's Warehouse are hosting the Nevada State Dutch Oven Championship, which will be a sanctioned IDOS competition. The winner may be invited to compete at IDOS' world championship in March 2013.

Competition will be a three-pot format (main dish, bread and dessert).

Two divisions will compete and they are Youth (ages 10 - 17) and Adult (ages 18+). Youth competitors must be accompanied by an adult. Competitors may compete as individuals or in teams. Competitors must provide their own ingredients, charcoal, and equipment.

Cash prizes will be awarded in each division as follows:

Adult: $500 1st place; $250 2nd place; $100 3rd place
Youth: $150 1st place; $75 2nd place; $50 3rd place

Set-up begins at 8:00 a.m.
Cooks meeting is at 8:30 a.m.

Breads must be turned in no later than 11 a.m.
Main dishes must be turned in no later than 12 p.m.
Desserts must be turned in no later than 1 p.m.
