German authors Erwin Uhrmann, Inka Parei and Catalin Dorian Florescu will introduce and discuss their most recent works at the Austrian Embassy.
Catalin Dorian Florescu will talk about his most recent novel, Jacob beschliesst zu lieben, which tells the adventurous life story of Jacob Obertin, who lives in a small village in Romania.
Inka Parei will present her latest work, Die Kältezentrale. East Berlin provides the bleak landscape for this intriguing novel.
Erwin Uhrmann will read a passage from his literary debut, Der lange Nachkrieg, in which a young man finds himself entangled in the unresolved death of his great-aunt. Excerpts will be read in both German and English.
The writers will introduce and discuss their work in English. Moderated by Norbert Bärlocher, Cultural Attaché, Embassy of Switzerland.
