Let's Meetup and Tell Stories!

Spring at last (we hope!) and Easter time too.  We look forward to stories of growth and celebration, or any stories at all!  Please join us to tell stories, listen to stories, and talk and have fun.

I had a lot of fun and I feel like I learned quite a bit. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Author Isak Dinesen published the tale in 1942 book: " Winter's Tales" (and not in her "Seven Gothic Tales"), as I had mis-stated in today's Circle. Kindly inform Clayton, and the others who also noted of interest in reading "The Sailor-Boy Tale".

Thanks for your question, Robert. The answer depends on the number of folks attending. If we have a crowd, we limit the time - otherwise, we go with unfettered. Either way, we have a great time! Hope to see you Sunday...

As the April 27 Story Teller's Circle is for only two hours, is the format for a specific timed allotment for each storyteller? - or is each one's talk free-roving and unfettered?

Welcome, Robert! Thank you for your question and for joining Northern Wake Storytelling Circle. We meet at present once a month and in April we needed to try to steer clear of Easter and Spring Break. We are open to meeting more (indeed we used to) but we found that with two meetings in the same month we had much lower attendance at each meeting. We are growing and hope that maybe we can expand our dates again! I hope this answers your question: we are looking forward to meeting you and sharing stories. Thanks again!

    Hi Claire Vera Ramsey

I'm new in Wake Forest, NC for just over a year. For 2010 to 2011 we lived in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Is'nt there a Circle during the weeks before Sunday the 27th?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
