Italian Film + Drinks in town

Ciao amici,

As mentioned recently, Julie has kindly booked the cinema room at Nottingham University's Hallward Library for us again - next Sunday 16th - from 12pm.

As time is short for a film poll, I'd like to suggest a romantic comedy called: Nessuno Mi Puo Giudicare (thanks to Louise for the loan). I haven't seen it but it's had some decent reviews. It's fairly light - described an Italian take on Pretty Woman - and hopefully an entertaining watch, with some useful language, as well (of course ;-) ).

Afterwards, for those interested, I'd like to suggest we head into Nottingham for a chat and some drinks - either at The Bell Inn (where I believe they have Irish music on a Sunday afternoon) - or a cafe' that Julie knows in Hockley called Natural Kitchen.

Fateci sapere al piu' presto!

A light, entertaining romantic comedy (with some interesting vocabulary ;-) ) - followed by a walk around the uni lake and a pleasant conversation/drink/bite to eat in the Johnson Arms. Tutto bene!

Good idea, Ted. If the weather is nice, instead of heading into town, we could go for a little walk around the Uni lake, then perhaps to the Johnson Arms pub - half a mile away on Abbey Street (towards QMC). For the hungry, they do lunches from 12-4pm on Sundays - and they also have a beer garden! Vediamo cosa vogliamo fare...

Why not go to a place where we can sit outside. The weather is lovely at the moment. Besides, it will be very noisy in the Bell Inn. Apart from, the café by the lake, I think one of the pubs we went to before the Indian meal with Rajiv has a beer garden. Perhaps someone else has a better ides-

Hello. Are there free parking spaces around?

Yes Susana - there's a car park directly opposite the library. It shouldn't be full, but if so, you should be able to find road-side parking nearby on a Sunday. Any probs, give me a bell.
