Welcome all who have come to this website. I guess you have come, because there is something about Japanese that has bewitched you. It could be that you've just seen first J-Horror and your spirit is now in transmission. Maybe you couldn't stop laughing or yes, crying, at a melodramatic dorama, or maybe you've got your head in a textbook trying to figure out why Japanese is so "passive" with its verbs. Even if you've never experienced anything Japanesey before and are just looking to make new friends and get an understanding of why it is that so many people have turned east for some inspiration, hopefully this will be the place to do so.

There is no ultimate goal to this group, other than to help encourage people to take an interest in all things Japanese. Ideally though, it would be great if the focus of the group was on language study, because I would like to get people together in a non-class room environment, where they don't have to pay, to be able to improve their Japanese by using it in practice.

Let's leave our woes behind and.......

"Cheers Nathan & Stuart. I'll keep Sakura in mind. Hmm, the rail pass is a bit on the expensive. I'll have to work out if it's worth it."

"On the rail pass, I think we figured as long as we went to Kyoto, Himeji and back the pass would pay for itself. The rates may have changed, but it's worth doing a little bit of maths...."
