Committee interest meeting

Are you interested in becoming more active in Nottingham Rotaract and would consider taking a position on the committee?

It’s a great opportunity to shape the way the club runs, learn lots of new skills, network with organisations and other Rotaract/Rotary clubs both locally, nationally and internationally.

If you are interested then please come along to our interest meeting on Wednesday 9th May 8pm where members of the existing committee will be on hand to answer any questions and have an informal chat.

The committee positions run from July 2012-June 2013 and you will of course receive plenty of support from previous committee members. The main quality you need is to be keen, able to motivate others and be a 'doer!'

The positions which we have are;

President

Treasurer and Personal Development Officer

Events and Publicity Officer

Secretary and Membership Officer

We will explain whats involved in each of the positions and you can take a look through the job descriptions. We will explain how the voting process will work, nothing too scary just to make sure everythings fair.

To be on the committee you must already be a member or have been invited to be a member of Nottingham Rotaract and have been attending activities recently so you have an understanding of how the group works and a knowledge of existing members and the charities who we support and you should be around to do the role for the majority of the year.
