Tally sent you this message from Nottingham Vegetarian/Vegan Meetup Group on Meetup:

"Good evening! I'm from the Derby Animal Rights group and I just wanted to let this
group know about a vegan event we're putting on called Compassionate Derby. It's on
Saturday 5th November, 11am - 5pm, at the Darwin Suite, Derby Assembly Rooms.

It's an event promoting an ethical and cruelty-free lifestyle. Everything there will
be vegan, and there'll be lots of free food samples. There'll also be ethical
shopping, sustainable living, animal welfare charities and causes and talks and
demonstrations. We have companies like Honesty Cosmetics coming along and national
organisations such as Viva! and Animal Aid.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome. We have about twenty stalls confirmed at
the moment (and some companies have sent loads of free food) but are hoping to
double that number. If any of your members made, baked, etc any vegan products they
could have a stall by donation. Talks are going to be on environmental and animal
rights issues and we're having a couple guided meditations.

It's the first vegan fayre to be held in Derby in a few years so if any of your
members are in Derby and fancy supporting us by coming along that would be super :-)
I know it clashes with Bonfire night and you guys have a meetup but if you could let
people know and maybe spread the word that would be super. If it works then it could
hopefully be a yearly thing.

We could also do with some local volunteers to help out with stuff on the day if
anyone was interested?

Thanks for your time!

Best wishes, Natalie
