Jesse did a great job, explaining pasture base system. I liked the fax that he wasn't dismissive of other farmers that produce grain even if he doesn't agree with their farming methods. He was able to show how grass is more sustainable. Betsy did a lovely job of showing the ease of making your own butter and explaining the different components of the finished product. They didn't disappoint this farmer's wife. I learned a few things too, that I thought I would share with my husband but he already knew!

We will be bringing Farm FRESH EGGS:
non GMO fed, free range, cage free, grass-fed...

Please let me know if you are interested in some and how many. I brought 12 dozen last month and needed more. They are $3.50 a dozen. This cost includes the distance we drive to procure NON-GMO feed for supplement in the winter. We cannot guarantee there is no soy. They are also fed sprouted grains/legumes.
We are in the process of raising worms and other insects for the winter months. We are the owners of Kerusso Farms, a family farm north of GR with an emphasis on sustainable, ecologically sound methods without the official organically grown certification.
We grow produce and are putting in an aquaponics facility for the farm. We also raise chickens for eggs and ducks for meat (personal use at this time).

Find us on Facebook @ Kerusso Farms
    [masked] for egg reservations
