Join Us for this Free Live Discussion - Christians & Alcohol - Do They Mix?

Presented by Dr. Ray Self and the International College of Ministry on Tuesday, October 29 th , 2013 at 8:00pm Eastern / 7:00pm Central.

This Free Live Web Class is approximately 60 minutes in length.

The purpose of this live web event is to discuss topics that can be controversial in nature even if they should not be so.

Within the church some denominations condemn drinking, some allow it, and some look the other way. What does scripture teach about this topic? What are the facts?

This web class will have some open discussion along with question and answer time. The issue is worthy of discussion because of some very serious facts concerning alcohol consumption. This discussion will not condemn anyone but have simple and honest discourse on the topic.

Dr. Ray Self will be the speaker. He holds a Doctorate in Christian Psychology and a Doctorate in Theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

This will be a discussion of Christians and drinking.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

Why is this topic so controversial? Is drinking alcohol a sin?Is it acceptable?Does it open demonic doorways? What are the facts?Should you be condemned if you are saved and still drink? What are the pros and cons?

This free ICM Live Web Class is open to the public. You do not have to be an enrolled student at ICM College to attend this web class.

as a former Baptist and 37 yr Christian...this is a taboo subject...as there is a lot of anti-alcohol Bigotry in the So Baptist church

thanks Janine....it seems to most Baptists there is an 11th commandment ...thou shalt not drink alcohol...maybe 12th ...is thou shalt not dance...and 13th thou shalt not have premarital sex....I struggled with this for many years...but Jesus' law of liberty has released me

This is the first time we've offered one of our live web classes to OACS members. We've been hosting our Live Web Classes for nearly two years for ICM students and everyone who attends loves them. If we have a good attendance by OACS members, you may see more free classes offered here in the future.
