We are glad you found us! OC Good Life is one of the largest socially oriented Meetup groups in the entire country, so you have come to the right place! You only live once! After much discussion with people just like you, we were inspired to create this group for the same reasons that you are here. We are all looking to do fun things together, as a group of friends, and meet other people in the local area that enjoy going out and having fun. Trying that trendy new restaurant or going out on the dance floor somewhere new is much more enjoyable when you do it with fun people in a group.
* We always want everyone to feel welcome, and that means that we are committed to having everyone feel comfortable as well as safe. If it's your first time to one of our events, please don't be afraid that you won't know anyone. We will make sure you are welcome.
* Suggestions are always welcome, and we'd love to have as many different types of events that as you can think up.
* Together we will have new experiences, explore new places, try new things, and enjoy all that Orange County and surrounding areas (and even the entire world!) have to offer. Whatever your interests, you will find an event for yourself in this group.

EVENT OVERVIEW: This is a free weekly online video dating coaching and discussion for Singles who are 50 years and over, hosted by Dating and Relationship Coach Christine Baumgartner. She will answer your questions, provide practical dating advice, provide topics for discussion, listen to your experiences, give tips on how to navigate through today's dating culture, and provide advice on how to connect and stay connected. The Zoom Login information will be sent individually to you via Meetup Messaging an hour prior to the start time. Please check your Meetup Messages.
HOW TO JOIN THE ZOOM VIDEO DISCUSSION
The following are instructions to install the Zoom app for anyone using a Windows laptop or desktop PC, an Apple Macbook or iMac PC (using MacOS), an Android smartphone, tablets or device, an Apple iPhone or iPad (using iOS), and Chromebook PC (using Chrome OS).
Verify that you have audio, microphone and video capability on your device to participate in this weekly online meeting.
1. Windows Computer: If you haven't already done so, install the Zoom app from the Windows Microsoft Store, or download from this link: Windows Zoom app
2. Apple iMac or Macbook: If you haven't already done so, install the Zoom app from the Apple App Store, or download from this link: Apple Zoom app
3. Apple iPad or iPhone: If you haven't already done so, install the Zoom app from the Apple App Store.
4. Android Devices & Chromebook (smartphone, tablet or Chrome OS): If you haven't already done so, download from the Google Play Store app
5. Join the call at 6:00 PM (PT) by using one of this method:- For security reasons, the Zoom link will be sent 1 hour before the event starts.
- Launch the Zoom app and login using Meeting ID and Passcode
Viewing Area: If you use your laptop or desktop computer, you'll be able to see everyone on your monitor (screen), but you'll be limited to only viewing one or two people at a time if you use a tablet, smartphone, iPhone, iPad, or smaller device.
ATTENDANCE RULES
Everyone who RSVPs for this event agrees to read, accept and comply to these Attendance Rules listed below. These rules are to ensure the safety and security of our members and attendees. It also ensures the integrity of the event by making sure that everyone who attends does not disrupt this event, are respectful, and weeds out scammers and stalkers.
1. ATTENDEE PROFILE PHOTOS, NAMES & AGE: We must be able to identify everyone who RSVP's for this event, so you must have a current, clear, unobscured profile photo of your face and upper body. Profile photos must NOT have the following: Sunglasses, Hats, face-covering, scarves, group shots, animals, nature scenes, blurry photos, shirtless photos, provocative or suggestive photos. Your Profile Name must be your real first name (no titles, nicknames, abbreviations, letters, symbols or numbers). Participants must be 50 years or older.
2. VIDEO: To prevent "Zoom bombing" and disruptions, participants must have their Zoom video turned on when first join an event and be present when video is on. Once we verify and confirm you, you may turn your video off.
3. BEHAVIOR: Participants are expected to be respectful, considerate, courteous, gracious and maintain good behavior; and abstain from gossip, discussing any hot topics, interrupting other people, and discussing topics that would create discord or arguments. This includes arguing or talking negative about politics, wars, race, religion, other people, the opposite sex, other Meetup groups, although we welcome your personal individual experience, we ask that you abstain from Stereotyping and Generalizing by saying "All men... or "All women...", or any kind of negativity.CONNECT THROUGH CHISTINE’S RESOURCES
