Posting Photos to the Meetup Site

Hi all,

I thought I'd mention something that's been brought to my attention. When you upload photos to one of our albums, the site allows visitors to download the image in multiple sizes, include the original size at which it was uploaded. If you are not comfortable having random strangers able to download a copy of your full-sized originals, I would suggest resizing your images down to something like 1000 or 800 pixels on the longest side. That's big enough to show on screen, so it's all you really need.

This isn't mandatory by any means but since you really don't gain anything by uploading the full-sized, you have nothing to lose by protecting your originals.
