OC Trail Tales- Hosts Cross Training @ Quail Hill

Good Morning!
This run meetup takes place on the bike path/trail head at Quail Hill.
We will have a 10 min warm up, perform various running form drills, then get into the main workout for the evening. These drills are all to everyone's individual abilities. They are not a race, we focus on form and technique. We also watch you very closely to see if you are doing things correctly. Every Wednesday will be a little different to keep it fresh. Please don't worry or feel intimidated, you are in good hands and we have people of all abilities.
We like to stretch out after the workout, so please bring a mat or towel to stretch out on. Don't forget your water as well!

DIRECTIONS: Quail Hill Park is located off the 405 Freeway at Shady Canyon in Irvine. From the north, exit the 405 Freeway at Shady Canyon and go right. From the south, exit the 405 and go left on Shady Canyon. Continue to follow Shady Canyon until you see Quail Hill Park on the right.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Select runs at your ability level or below
- Bring extra water/electrolytes and hydrate before and during the hike
- Bring extra high-energy snacks
- Bring more than one bottle of WATER
- Bring charged cell phone, personal first aid kit, whistle
- Wear shoes with traction - Trails can be steep
- Wear and bring hat, sunscreen and appropriate attire/gear based on terrain and weather conditions
- NO Runner LEFT BEHIND BUDDY SYSTEM - Select another runner as a buddy and to check-in with each other and report any problems to the coach or Sweep. Do not leave a fellow runner alone or unaccompanied on the trail.
Participants are solely responsible for their regular and emergency meds, including, importantly for food, plant and sting allergies, whether or not they have a history of such allergies.
