Provided Miles cooperates with us OCAndroid leaders, via interactively posting here per Meetup groups' std for posting http://1.JotHere.com/3975#MHEYM... , so to (1) schedule this so it won't conflict with our already-scheduled events (as our annual 2013.02.22-24 SCALE11x http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/eve... ) & allow adequate prep time for this (see & reply-in WHEN http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/eve... ) and (2) work out with us the other details to work out mentioned here on this page (such as point MI94AX: making this official w/ http://StartupWeekend.Org to use thier name), OCAndroid will be quite delighted to help secure him speakers for this+advertise this to our 100s of mbrs,mostly local Andorid developers, many of whom would then be quite interested.

  Currently this is scheduled apparently-firmly for 2013.02.24Sun1000-1800 and "Room is already booked." and in-depth topic advertised and "has 20 registrants already" BUT with 2+ key problems

  *For ambitious events promising an in depth tech presentation, pls FIRST get the speakers confirmed, THEN pick the date (esp according to them), THEN book the room, and only THEN advertise the date as firm!

  **most important I want to show our appreciation to a member showing leadership initiative, esp in the non-technical as organizing events & gathering members. Seemingly like many tech Meetups, OCAnroid very rarely gets such members, so when it happens, esp on its own, I want to show appreciation to that person. But yes it was a huge (nearly 2 days) of time.

  Per my prior comment saying "as Meetup.." (see it), now <2hrs before this scheduled start time 2013.02.24Sun1000, per main host's cmt https://plus.google.co... saying this event "will most likely be postponed by 6-8 weeks", well as explaiend Meetup needs a single date for an event (not a range), so I took the average 7 weeks and moved this listing by that, now I moved the start date to then, "Sunday, April 14, 2013" --note then THIS IS +/-~1 WEEK.

Note Meetup event comments are now threaded 2 levels, It's is very useful and important to use this feature esp given it's not just organizers reading this but all perspective attendees, indeed the description+comments is whats advertised to the world. So:
*when u want to reply to cmt,click "Reply" on it&DON'T add another top-level cmt.
*If the topic is new, consider creating the topic name as cmt, then reply to that.
*esp important that common organizer-mostly topics as When-discussion fall under a thread for that so the avg possible-attendee can skip.
*Stay on the thread's topic, avoid repeating, & word carefully
*Posts CAN'T be moved once posted;so shoot to post it right the 1st time else carefully&quickly repost correctly then delete ur original posts,insuring not to loose any content.
*To get my cmts all neat & right, I often use an offline text editor to compose my collection of comments to post then post the bunch of them at once.

M3BEED: Members are Android software & hardware developers, entrepreneurs, users, and managers, at ALL skill levels, in-or-by-or-visiting Orange County, California, who have been hand-picked (meeting simple basic good standards as having a pic showing who they are and respectfully following instructions; but on Meetup, that screens out a lot).

M3BE9L: The Android OS is the most popular mobile operating system, surpassing even Apple (their iOS as on iPhone & iPad); a huge & increasing variety of hardware runs it, indeed typically includes it standard, and is typically the least expensive (compared to hardware running other mobile OSes) firstly because Android is open source; hardware running it includes mobile computers (including smartphones ("Android had a worldwide smartphone market share of 75% during the third quarter of 2012,[19]") & tablets), in PCs/thin computers/media players and video game consoles as Ouya and, embedded systems (as in high-end printers as by our member James Jung and even in airplane seat entertainment systems as by Panasonic Avionics right here in Lake Forest), plus more!
