Verizon Developer Conference of 2011(~2nd annual)

Dates: 2011 Sept 13-14; see the official schedule for exact times of day. Official URL: http://VDCConference.com --sadly the official website lacks a specific URL for this & each holding of the conference but there is 2011 VDC hotel booking (https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=930&host=offer&code=VDCM11). 2011.08.23: I heard about this from member post Matt (https://www.meetup.com/OCAndroid/member/1830782/i/gh_event_comment_tl) "I'd like to attend this but Verizon is putting on an Android Dev Con in Vegas those same days. I'm going for work. If anyone else is going, let me know. Hopefully I'll make some of your acquaintances before then!" (posting on Our 16th Classic Meeting on 2011.09.14(Wed) listing http://meetu.ps/3wCdS ) Note this conference is not specifically development for Android but instead development for Verizon Wireless (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verizon_Wireless), but since it seem's Verizon's flagship phone (at least by their ads) has been for 2+ years now the Android-based "Droid" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_Droid), likely Android development will be the main focus, and it seems to have been last year.
