      1. M0TCJ6: If you don’t yet have the software (Android IDE) installed, that’s fine, as we provide it and help you install it during our meeting.
    2. M15TNK: If you have portable Internet for yourself, especially a portable wifi-hotspot, please bring it. Want to learn how to create one? Then bring the equipment.. To insure our own meeting's reliability and give us full venue flexibility, whenever our venue's wifi Internet is not available or not reliable or not enough, we share among our attendees who provides us Internet.

    *This is http://meetu.ps/7JgD2
*Good meeting. Thx all who came.
*Thks also to Anthony for buying everyone sodas. &Thx to Bill for giving Android trainingl
    *For the record, the wifi hotspot I provided worked flawlessly & used "Bytes: 518M / 235M" (I guess it's "Down / Up")of my 5G@4G plan,-enough 2hold ~9 small mtgs/mo, plenty given we only do this 4x/mo now.
*During the mtg, new attendee Anthony, following our instructions, was also able to set up a wfi-hotspot, too! Way to go, Anthony!

Probably went as well as it could, being our 1st meeting on our new day (Monday) and at this new Lake Forest; the local iOS meetup says a venue change or a date change causes attendance to 1/2, and we had both, so given that, we were doing pretty well. The upside is that our new member Anthony got a lot of personal attention and got a lot out of it, including Android training and a free Wifi hotspot for his phone Also our new portable wifi hotspot worked like a charm!

Where'd everyone go? No fun with no members :( We got a the new guy up to speed, then spent the rest of the night hacking. Cell-based wifi worked great.

*Including new attendee Anthony seems to be enjoying it. He's now working on our Android tutorials and for the last months has been working with a high-tech startup developing a smartphone extension & app to allow visual navigation & call-back to IVR=Interactive Voice Response) phone trees, Says he can give demo URLs
*Special thanks to leader Kathy for buying us all a 3-topping MacArthor Round Table Pizza -- yum! -And giving it away FREE! Too cool, Kathy!

As http://1.JotHere.com/LTO3YC#M0V... fully explains, I quote(now RENAMED "instance 18+" to "instance 43+" respectively per new (broad) name "OCAndroid Developers Meetup" as is accurate: yes, OCAndroid has actually held that many in-person meetings which were each especially for its own Android developers!)

All present indications (such as http://groups.google.com/group/... ) are that this must be at a new venue, which is actively being searched for now & TBA.
