I've been a software engineer since the stone age. Ok, not that far, but a long time. I want to see what is going on from people that are doing it and playing with it. I too, in High School was doing things I was not supposed to be able to do until I had completed Grad School.
I love to brainstorm and think waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outside the box. Just hanging out with people and hearing how and what they are doing with tech I was not familiar with, starts ideas popping into my head. I came up with the concept for the Droid/iPad back in the mid '70s. We should be able to leap way past where we are today, not just by a year or two, but if we sit back and think and dream a little....light years.
Lots of ideas, quick of mind, both lateral thinking and cross pollination.
NitroDesk TouchDown - I set up MS Outlook on my desktop, laptop, and Droid and sync them all together. Then I have them set up to run GTD, "Getting Things Done" as customized by David Allen's team. David invented GTD. TouchDown implements the most features of Outlook of any implementation of Outlook. It still has bugs and drops calendar entries and contacts but retains notes and tasks for me accurately. It is the one tool I cannot be without to coordinate, track and manage my day.
I’m a hybrid. Part lean startup entrepreneur, software engr (BS-CIS, MS/.NET/VB/SQL/...), project manager (PMP), and part ADD/ADHD Coach (MA-Psychology, www.InnerTruthCoach.com). I help those with busy minds, especially technologists, do more in life
