I have two jobs. First, I am a Daily Correspondent with Metrowest Daily News. I write the feature business story that focuses on unique businesses in the Metrowest area. Past stories I've written have been about limousine companies, golf courses, savvy mom's, high-technology, video games, mobile bike servicer and many others. On top of that I am a columnist for New England Home Life Magazine. It serves the South Shore, Cape Cod and Rhode Island. The circulation is about 150K. My focus is providing consumers valuable advice about buying and selling real estate. I am also working on writing a column about the small things in life that annoy us but we don't make a big deal of them. We just let it go figuring that there's little we can do or don't have time to resolve it. A good example is people speeding in small neighborhoods, the life of a yardbag and MBTA's rigid timeline where riders can literally miss the train by a single second (believe it!)
I am a writer, journalist, columnist, husband, father and dog owner, phew. On top of that, I am an avid golfer, bridge player, reader and mobile app freak. I would like to learn about what other journalists are doing to build their careers.
