Meetup with other local professionals with an interest in the production of news for digital presentation.

The Online News Association (ONA) is a nonprofit membership organization for digital journalists, connecting journalism, technology and innovation. It is open to professionals and students, writers, editors, photographers, videographers, designers, developers -- the list goes on. Nonprofit and advocacy groups are welcome.

We'll be getting together to discuss issues that impact our work, as well as the latest tech tools you can use to tell your stories.

You do not need to be an ONA member to join this group. But we're hoping you'll enjoy it so much you eventually will. For more information about ONA or to become a member, check out Journalists.org.

You can also follow us on Twitter (@ONAChicago) and join our ONA Chicago Facebook group.
