Fair enough, but every journalist should be paying attention to the best in sports journalism, where some of the best work in multimedia production, storytelling and reader interaction has come from. This event at The New York Times will be instructive for fans and non-fans alike — if you're not a fan, that's all the more reason to come and get caught up on the lessons that could apply to your own work.
