DNC Convention Viewing Party and Meetup

The Democratic National Committee convention is in Philadelphia, which means the Pen and Pencil Club, the country's oldest daily operating journalism club, will have lots of visitors from around the country.

Let's welcome them with an ONA meetup!

This will be just a good ol' fashioned happy hour, no programming in particular. If you don't have credentials, come for this happy hour and then stay late for when conventioneers and journalists might make their way here after programming. The DNC convention will be on the TV, and the schedule (http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/dnc-2016-schedule-of-events-and-speakers-225617) for the kickoff night is meant to include Michelle Obama and Bernie Sanders.

The Pen and Pencil Club will put out buffet-style dinner for members.
