ONA Philly November meetup: Philadelphia Media Network

Details
We'll meet other people interested in online journalism, we'll learn about Philadelphia Media Network's recent tablet initiative (http://www.philly.com/ad/campaign/129114453.html), and we'll drink free beer. It's a perfect night, really.
Join us at the home of the Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com for a casual get-together at 6 p.m. Around 6:45 or 7 p.m., we'll hush up for half an hour and hear from some of the people responsible for PMN's much-discussed tablet launch, including CEO Greg Osberg and Philly.com editor Wendy Warren. They'll give us some insight into the thinking behind it, the execution, and what other journalists can learn from the initiative. We'll stay until everyone gets tired or 9 p.m., whichever comes first.
We invite writers, editors, photographers, producers, technologists, students and all with an interest in the production of news for digital presentation. Our first event, at WHYY's NewsWorks, attracted over 60 people (see photos here (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.247966328573933&type=1)).
Please RSVP so we have an accurate count for beverages and food. Questions? You can follow co-organizers Daniel Victor (http://twitter.com/bydanielvictor), Amy Fiscus (http://twitter.com/amyfiscus) and Christopher Wink (http://twitter.com/christopherwink) on Twitter. We encourage you to join the ONA Philly Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/groups/210065215697378/), where we post job openings and other events in the city that might interest online journalists. And please help us spread the word to others (for those on Twitter, we'll use the #ONAPhilly hashtag).
Also, please help us grow! We need sponsors to help offset the costs of hosting, as that free beer isn't really free, and we need venues to host future events (often news organizations that would like to discuss a recent project, but we're open to anything). Please get in touch if you're interested.
