Hacks/Hackers Colorado #ONA16 Meetup

Join us as we welcome the Online News Association 2016 conference to Denver!

We're partnering with Hacks/Hackers Colorado (https://www.meetup.com/hackshackersco) to host the afterparty to the official #ONA16 (http://ona16.journalists.org/) Opening Night Reception on Sept. 15.

From 8 p.m., you can find us in the downstairs lounge at the historic Denver Press Club (http://www.denverpressclub.org/) – the oldest press club in America.

Founded in 1877, the Press Club is just a three-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency Denver (the ONA venue).

What's more, the drinks are on Name.com (https://www.name.com/) – for some of the night at least! And on Sept. 16, Name.com and the Open Media Foundation are hosting a hackathon to help sustain journalism. Learn more at hackthe.news (https://www.name.com/hackthedot/hackthenews).

AFter the Name.com drinks fund runs dry, The Press Club is offering us a deal on drinks — beer, wine and mojitos for $5 — and a hot Mexican buffet will be available for $12 per person.

Any ONA16 attendee is welcome to come along (plus one guest), but please RSVP here on Meetup, so we have a head-count. If you find out later that you can't make it, please change your RSVP to free up a space for somebody else.
