The goal of ONYX aka BW4WM is to promote and support the IR lifestyle and to facilitate interracial mingling & socializing.

We hope our members develop & foster lifelong friendships and have the opportunity to meet the "ONE" and hopefully fall in love. We are a social/dating group that welcomes like minded individuals!

We also would like to congratulate Co-Organizer Sonya & Jason Menssen, who were married in September 2011 and Group Founder Karyn Branch & Steve Burns, who are currently engaged to be married this year. We also have five (5) couples who have become engaged in the past 6 months and four (4) couples that have entered into serious relationships! Great success to you all and good success for us, a group, that is a little over a year old.

ONYX aka BW4WM Membership Requirements

The requirements for joining this group are:

1. You must be a Single/Divorced Black Female or White Male.
(*This is not a group for people who are married/separated and looking.  Our members are individuals who are looking for a serious relationship or friendship, not a casual fling.

2. You must live or work within the state of Georgia so that you can conveniently attend events.

*We now accept members that are out of state as long as they meet the following criteria:

     a. Must travel or reside in Atlanta part time (or at least attend one event per year)

     b. Must be active on the ONYX group site AND/OR on our group Facebook page

3. This is an adult group for people Age 21 years or older.

4. You must provide a current photo (less than 1 year old) which clearly shows your face (please make this your primary photo.)

Recommendation: Select a photo where you are easily recognizable. You should be alone, without sunglasses and facing the camera.  Your primary photo should be posted on the site at all times or your membership will be revoked.

5. Fully fill out a brief profile to join this site. (No unanswered questions!)

6. Fill out your Location and Hometown detail on your profile page.

7. We are an active group, so if you have not visited the website within 60 days, your membership will be removed.

8. We will not tolerate any abuse of our members or Leadership Team.  Members who display/post inappropriate communication (online or offline) or post solicitations on the site will be removed immediately.  All members are asked to report any innapropriate behavior to the Leadership Team.

9. Members that leave the group are free to reapply & rejoin at any time! We welcome former members back with open arms! Only members who have been removed for gross misconduct (or who have been banned) are not allowed to rejoin in consideration of the safety of our members.
