ORG, Big Brother Watch, English PEN and Constanze Kurz are challenging the UK's legal regime at the European Court of Human Rights. What's the substance of the claim and what will it mean if they win?

Dan Carey, from Deighton Piece Glynn, is the solicitor for the application and will explain what the challenge hopes to do.

Thanks for coming, everyone. I heard it was a very interesting evening!

For those who couldn't attend (like me), Arne has put together a short round-up of the event that you can read on the ORG Cardiff blog at: https://cardiff.openrightsgroup....

We're putting together another meetup for the end of January where we'll be looking for feedback, ideas, and volunteers for various things so if you'd like to add your input and help us drive ORG Cardiff forward then stay tuned...

Unfortunately I've got an emergency school governor meeting on Thursday 12th December. I also said my wife would attend with me but that's not going to happen now either. Sorry for the short notice but I only got informed tonight.

Sadly, I won't be able to make this event as it clashes with the TechHub opening party. Really interested to hear more and perhaps host some events here in Swansea.
