Screening of Citizen Four

ORG Manchester members are given the chance to pay only £4 (!) to see a Screening of the film CITIZENFOUR and support digital rights at the same time! This is hosted very kindly by Mike at Spaceport as a fundraiser for ORG - thanks to team there!

CITIZENFOUR is a real life thriller, unfolding by the minute, giving audiences unprecedented access to filmmaker Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald’s encounters with Edward Snowden in Hong Kong, as he hands over classified documents providing evidence of mass indiscriminate and illegal invasions of privacy by the National Security Agency (NSA).

As this is a fundraiser, we're asking for attendees to pay £4 (half the price of a cinema ticket!). It will be used to cover the license fee and the rest will be contributed to Open Rights Group, the UK's only digital rights NGO: https://www.openrightsgroup.org
