Wildflower Walk

This is our 20th Anniversary at Open Space and what better way to celebrate than by coming to join us for a beautiful walk through the preserve? You helped to protect this, so please do come and enjoy it as our thanks to you.

Please join Docent Paul for this 4.5 mile hike along the Mayfair Trail at Rancho Canada del Oro OSP. Meet him at 10 am and hike until about 2 pm as you explore the Mayfair trail in search of wildflowers and wildlife. Bring a sack lunch and stop at a picnic table with a fantastic view to eat lunch together. You will then head down the back side of the hill through a riparian zone and then out along a flat old ranch road with rolling hills on either side.

Bring water and a sack lunch. Due to the higher attendance in the park in general, the technicians have asked that we park in the overflow lot up the dirt road. Please park there and walk down to the restroom and picnic table where we can meet you and begin our hike.
